Hi, and welcome to our website.  My name is Diane Azzopardi and I am the principal and owner of Direct Accounting.  Direct Accounting is a Chartered Accountancy Firm and we have operated out of the Penrith CBD since November 2001.  As a Chartered Accountant, I have worked in the profession for over 20 years and have owned this practice since 2001. I qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Western Sydney and currently hold memberships with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAA), the Taxation Institute of Australia (TIA) and the National Tax and Accountants’ Association (NTAA). I am also a Registered Tax Agent and a Justice of the Peace. I believe in being involved in the local community and as such, contribute as a Director of the Penrith RSL Club, a Board Member of the Nepean Medical Research Foundation, a Director on the Board of the Penrith Business Advisory Centre and participate in the NSW Government Business Mentoring Program (Young Entrepreneur - Penrith). In 2005 it was a highlight for me to be a finalist in the Sydney Business Review Business Woman of the Year Awards.
